Kakivak Association has provided Jade medical grade air purifiers to 22 childcare centres in the Qikiqtani Region.
These air purifiers have multiple layers of filtration and germicidal ultraviolet lights, and are proven to remove airborne odours, bacteria and viruses. To assist with continued operation, each purifier was shipped with a three-year supply of replacement filters and ultraviolet bulbs.
“We wanted to assist the childcare centres to have healthier spaces during the Covid-19 pandemic and into the future” said Jeremy Tunraluk, the Board Chair for Kakivak Association. “we are pleased to provide the medical grade air purifiers and hope that this will result in improved health for the children attending daycare, as well as the staff.”
