Kakivak Association is a community economic development organization that provides training, employment and business development services to Inuit in the Qikiqtani region. Kakivak is committed to working with communities, individuals, organizations and employers to help Inuit realize their goals and aspirations.
Employment Services Officer
Reporting to the Manager of Training and Employment, the Employment Services Officer’s primary duties will be to delivery programs to assist clients acquire employable skills, through training, wage subsidies and other programs. The Employment Services Officer will work closely with other training agencies, employers, industry associations, and other stakeholder groups in the Qikiqtani region.
Reporting to the Manager of Career Services, the Career/Promotion Coordinator assist the Career Service Manager in overseeing the operation of the Employment Resource Centre, including satellite centres in the CLO offices. Major responsibility includes the marketing, communications, and promotion of Kakivak Association.
Junior Business Development Officer
Reporting to the Manager of Business Services, the Junior Business Development Officer will provide services to clients that are seeking support for the establishment or expansion of their business.
